President
Rob always knew he would end up in construction. Early on he would watch his uncle’s construction company (where his Dad also briefly worked) transform empty lots into fabulous homes.
With a desire to continue that tradition Rob started maison d’etre in 1995 and has remained steadfast in his belief that everyone deserves great design no matter what the size of the project is. He is adamant that maison’s design and contractor teams bring to every project the skills, design expertise and integrity that have become hallmarks of maison d’etre’s work.
Rob oversees each and every project and relies on his Honours Degree in Commerce to help him keep the focus on balancing financial reality with client dreams.
Rob is a Registered Housing Professional (RHP) and Registered Renovation Professional (RRP) and the instructor for the Home Renovation Planning course offered by Langara College, a leading provider of classroom-based real estate education in the Lower Mainland.
Rob also serves on the CHBABC Board of Directors Executive Committee as Secretary/Treasurer.
